Virgilio F1

Excellent hybrid of mid-long red pepper with a large shoulder and good plant cover. Excellent for greenhouse and open field cultivation. Fruit of uniform size, mainly quadrilobate, with dimensions of 14-16 long and 9-10 cm diameter, weight of 450- 500 g. The intense red colour, the smooth, thick wall make the fruits particularly attractive and with a good shelf life. Plant is strong with short internodes and take advantage of good fertilisation at early stage. Remarkable is the fruit setting in different climatic condition, that make it suitable for greenhouse in spring-summer and over winter cultivation. Appreciated for fresh market and processing.
