Peko F1

Monoicous melon hybrid with early cycle and concentrated ripening. Vigorous plant with good leaf covering, deep green coloured and very good fruit setting, that guarantees great yield performance. The fruit is round oval with marked suture, uniform sized (1.2 to 1.4 kg). The skin shows evident netting, golden-yellow colour at ripening, which well contrasts with the green slice suture. The flesh is salmon orange colour with brix of 13° -15°. The Mid Life character guarantees good fruit shelf life up to 6-7 days at room temperature in post-harvest. Peko is recommended for greenhouse and tunnel early plantings in the Centre and South of Italy.
